24 Juicy Hamburger Innovations

Hamburger Innovations are amongst the most revered innovations of the past century, with such breakthroughs as the Hamburger Bed, and the elusive (and Spam-like) Canned Cheeseburger. To honor the revolution, Trendhunter has tracked down the 24 juiciest innovations between two sesame seed buns.

The hot dog may claim to be the ‘All American’ food, but it’s really the sandwich made from ground up cow that attracts the attention of Americans. We make beds that look like hamburgers, celebrate Hamburger drag queens and marvel at $5000 Hamburgers. Here’s to you hamburger: my mouth waters as I bow down to your meaty goodness.

$5000 Hamburger

As is everything in Vegas, the FleurBurger 5000 is over the top with a hefty price tag of $5,000.00.  Created by Chef Hubert Keller, the FleurBurger 5000 is served at Fleur de Lys in Mandalay Bay.  It is a Kobe burger containing foie gras, a special truffle sauce, and is served on a brioche truffle bun with black truffles on the side.  The burger is served with a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1990 poured in Ichendorf Brunello stemware (you get to keep the stemware)imported from Italy, and a certificate of authenticity will be mailed to your home so you can brag to your friends about how you spent $5000 in Vegas…on a burger.

Public Art Cheeseburgers

The iconic Diesel Wall that has gained fame in Europe made its way to the U.S. this year, and the winner of the contest has just been revealed.

“The Good Life” is the title of the giant cheeseburger created by Jonathan Sandridge, a contemporary graphic artist.

“I felt that a cheeseburger would be an appropriate subject to work with because of its icon status in American (bigger the better) culture,” Sandridge said. “Working with the scale of the wall, the design becomes a glorious, godlike icon in an American city and the Cheeseburger design represents The Good Life.”

The 84’ by 90’ Diesel Wall public art project can be seen on the side of the Diesel US headquarters building in New York City.

To celebrate, Diesel teamed with Pop Burger to give out free cheeseburgers to those who checked out the mural on West 19th Street in Chelsea on August 7.

Take a look at some of the global Diesel Walls in the feature below.
